Steam distilled from the leaves of the fragrant grass, lemongrass has a strong, earthy, grassy, lemony tea-like aroma with a top-middle fragrance note. Considered effective in relieving joint and muscle pain, its aromas can help balance and calm the mind after a stressful day. It is also indicated for use on the hair to improve shine, and when diluted in carrier oil can be used a rub to decrease the appearance of spider veins and to invigorate the skin, improving circulatory function. As a room spray or diffused, it shows anti-depressant properties and is said to reduce inflammation, ease headaches and reduce symptoms of cold and flu.

• Diffuse 2-3 drops per 100ml of water with Lemon and Lime to calm nerves and provide mental clarity
• Add 2 drops each of Lemongrass and Lavender to a teaspoon of carrier oil and massage over sore muscles

• Fill a 2oz dark glass spray bottle with water 3/4 way full
• Add 20 drops each of Lemongrass, Grapefruit and Bergamot. Top off with water and shake well
• Spray 3-4 times in toilet BEFORE going. The oils create a barrier over the surface of water trapping the odor below
