Basil Oil Description 

Basil Essential Oil is steam distilled from the leaves, stems and flowers of the sweet basil herb, basil essential oil is colorless to pale amber with a thin consistency, presenting a middle-to-top fragrance note. Fresh, sweet and spicy with a faint balsamic, woody and licorice-like aroma, it is prized for its culinary versatility, and is well known for its effectiveness in pain relief as well. Used topically, it has a soothing, warming effect on the skin that goes deep into tired and achy muscles after a workout or a hard day at work. Basil Essential Oil’s heady aroma has a calming effect, helping you to relax and unwind. Great for boosting mental clarity and concentration and for easing tension.

Directions
  • Diffuse 2-3 drops per 100ml of water to improve and sharpen focus
  • Add 8-10 drops to a teaspoon of carrier oil to apply topically to relieve tension in the neck and shoulders
  • Inhale directly from bottle to quickly relieve anxiety

For a Household Cleaning Spray, combine in a spray bottle:

  • 2 cups of filtered water
  • 1 cup of white vinegar
  • 20 drops of lemon essential oil
  • 15 drops ofbasil essential oil
