Description
Steam distilled from the buds of a slender, aromatic evergreen tree, clove bud essential oil presents as a clear, colorless and lightweight liquid with a medium to strong middle note. It exhibits warm and pronounced woody, herbaceous and spicy clove aromas. As this oil will thicken with age and gradually darken with exposure to air, it is recommended that it be stored in a cool dark place. Most commonly associated with dental remedies and prized for its pain-relieving qualities, it is known to establish a serene atmosphere, boost alertness, ease cold symptoms and lift the spirits during cold winter months. Also excellent as an insect repellent.

Memories
When I first opened my jar of Clove Bud Essential oils it took me back home. It reminded me of my momma's Easter ham. The way she would glaze the top of the ham. Then she would place pineapples all around the top. She would hold the pineapples on with clove buds. Precious memories. Also, my daughter's boyfriend got pretty bad pains in his lower abdomen so I went home and look that up in my arsenal of Essential Oils books and found a recipe for his problem which contained Clove Bud EO. He used the recipe that I made for him using this with other EO and it actually eased his pain. Amazing uses for Essential Oils!
