Description

Clary sage essential oil is steam distilled from the leaves and flowers of the clary sage plant, the result is a clear, sometimes pale yellow liquid with a medium middle note. Its sweet, earthy aroma is at once herbaceous, nutty and fruity, and it has the ability to uplift the mood, combat depression and create a general sense of calm sensuality. Clary Sage essential oil relieves menstrual cramping and can be used as a natural body deodorizer. Strengthens the gums, eases gas pain and tones the skin while reducing the lasting effects of stress and tension and promoting a peaceful, restful sleep. Was at one time used in place of hops for making beer.
