Description
Frankincense essential oil is steam distilled from the gum resin of the Boswellia carterii or Boswellia sacara tree, this pale yellow clear liquid has a medium base note with warm, sweet, woody, spicy and balsamic aromas. Known for its astringent qualities, it can be used diluted in carrier oil to tone and tighten the skin or diffused to calm frazzled nerves and clear congested airways. Dilute 2-3 drops into your favorite carrier oil rub deeply into tired, achy muscles. With a history of ritual use that dates back to ancient Egypt, it infuses your space with an uplifting scent that helps to focus the mind for meditative purposes.

Directions
- Diffuse 2-3 drops per 100ml of water to support a peaceful, uplifting mood.
- Add 1-2 drops to favorite facial cream to aide in rejuvenation as well as firming and toning the skin.
- As a massage oil, add 8-10 drops to a tablespoon of carrier oil to comfort tired, achy joints
- Create an uplifting bath that also soothes inflammation, relieves pain and strengthens the immune system by adding 3-5 drops of Frankincense to a cup of epsom salts and pour into a warm tub.
