Thyme essential oil is steam distilled from the leaves and the flowers of the perennial herb, thyme essential oil exhibits a medium middle fragrance note that is warm, herbaceous, savory and sweet. Historically used as a medicinal herb due to its high degree of thymol, it is known to invigorate the mind and encourage clear and concise thinking. Dilute in carrier oil for a soothing massage, or diffuse to stimulate mental clarity and chase away fatigue. Diffuse or vaporize to support the immune system and clear the airways during seasonal illness or acute hay fever. Effective in treating nausea and stomach discomfort due to indigestion or gas. Its antiseptic and disinfectant properties make it a popular addition to household cleaning preparations.

Directions
  • Diffuse 2-3 drops per 100ml of water to stimulate mental clarity and chase away fatigue
  • Add 1 drop to a teaspoon of carrier oil and apply to abdomen in a clockwise direction to aide digestion

Make a deoderizing Lemon Thyme carpet and uphostery powder to use around the house or in your car:

  • Pour 2 cups of baking soda into a large glass bowl
  • Add 20 drops of Lemon and 5 drops of Thyme and stir until well combined
  • Transfer to a glass shaker jar or a cleaned out plastic shaker if using right away
  • Shake evenly over carpet or upholstery and let sit for 15 minutes
  • Vacuum the powder and enjoy the fresh lingering scent
